BUTTERNUT SQUASH, CHERRIES AND FLAX SEEDS BABY FOOD PUREE

Ingredients
• 1/2 butternut squash peeled, deseeded and roughly chopped
• 1 cup cherries fresh or frozen
• 1/2-1 tsp flax seeds
Instructions
• Bring 2 inches of water to a boil in a medium saucepan. Place the butternut squash in a steamer basket over boiling water, cover, and cook for 15 minutes.
• Add the cherries and steam for an additional 5 minutes. Let cool slightly. Reserve steamer water.
• Add the butternut squash, cherries and flax seeds to blender or food processor and puree for 1-2 minutes or until you have reached your desired consistency, adding in 1/4 cup of reserved steamer water if needed.
Notes
Age: 6+ months yield: makes roughly 25-ounce storage: Fridge – store in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Freezer – can be frozen for up to 4 months.
AVOCADO, PEAR + KIWI BABY FOOD PUREE

Ingredients
• 1/4 avocado, peeled
• 1/2 ripe pear, peeled
• 2 kiwis, peeled
Instructions
• Add all of the ingredients into blender and puree for 1 minutes until creamy and smooth. If needed, add water, breastmilk or formula in 1 tablespoon increments until you reach your desired consistency.
• Serve or freeze right away.
Notes
Age: 6+ months storage: Fridge – store in an airtight container in the fridge for 2 days. Freezer – can be frozen for up to 4 months. Due to the avocado, the puree might turn a slight brown color when frozen. Freeze immediately to reduce this discoloring.
BLUEBERRY CHICKPEA WITH ROSEMARY BABY FOOD PUREE

Ingredients
• 1/2 cup blueberries
• 1/2 cup chickpeas, strained and rinsed
• pinch fresh rosemary, coursely chopped
Instructions
• In a blender or food processor, add in the blueberries, chickpeas and rosemary.
• For a smooth stage 2 puree, puree on hight for 1-2 minutes or until completley smooth, adding in 1 tbsp of water at a time to achieve this consistency.
• For a chunky stage 3 puree, pulse for 10 seconds at a time, scraping down sides every 30 second and stopping when you have desired consistency, adding in 1 tbsp of water at a time to achieve this consistency.
